I had a mostly enjoyable stay at W Toronto. The ambiance and decor are modern and chic. though I faced a few setbacks with the bed firmness and a lack of amenities. The location is prime, right next to Hudson Bay and plenty of attractions, making it easy to explore the city.

Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious and stylish, featuring a large bathroom and a nice shower. but I struggled with a super firm bed and some quirks in the lighting system. Plus, the open bathroom concept felt awkward when sharing the space.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and eager to help. although there were moments where the communication could have been better, especially during a late-night fire alarm. The room service was punctual and the Starbucks coffee was a good perk.
Location

The location is fantastic. being right on top of Bloor-Yonge subway station makes it super convenient. Plus, there's easy access to shops, restaurants, and museums nearby.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast at Public School, which was hot and delicious. the bar is also a highlight. However, I found some of the food quality to be less than expected at times.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers great facilities like valet parking and pet amenities, which I appreciated. but I missed having a pool and the lobby felt disorganized at times.

I had a fantastic birthday weekend at W Toronto, with a couple of rooms that suited our group well. The service was great, highlighted by thoughtful touches like welcome cards and balloons. However, finding the entrance was a bit tricky, and the bathroom setup in my room was not ideal for my taste.

Rooms

I stayed in a beautiful room with a quiet city view. It was well-appointed and had space for plenty of folks, although some features felt more suited for a younger crowd, like the open bathroom concept.
Service

The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, making us feel special throughout our stay. From check-in to the dining experience, they exceeded my expectations.
Location

The location is perfect, right near trendy shops and restaurants, with easy access to the subway. It made exploring the city a breeze, especially in bad weather.
Dining

Breakfast at Public School was delicious and well-executed, though a bit pricey, which is kind of expected in Toronto. I appreciated their attentiveness when we were moved to the coffee house on a busy day.
Facilities

The hotel had great facilities, but I noticed some wear and tear on the light fixtures, which is a concern. Overall, the amenities like room service and valet were excellent.

7.0/10

I stayed at W Toronto and had a mixed experience. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to major shopping and dining spots, which made getting around super easy. However, the room was disappointing—the decor felt outdated and the noise from the underground trains made it hard to sleep. While I appreciated the quick and friendly service from the staff, the overall condition of the facilities really brought my rating down.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a great city view but felt outdated and noisy. The open bathroom layout wasn’t to my liking and the bed was uncomfortable, creaking with every movement. I expected a modern feel, but it seemed like the decor hadn't been updated in years.
Service
8.0
The staff were really friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. I was particularly impressed with the housekeeping service and the quick room service meals. They consistently provided great support during my stay.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect, right atop a subway entrance and close to great dining and shopping options. It made my trip to the theatre seamless, and having access to underground tunnels for shopping was a nice plus.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent, and I appreciated that room service was timely and the food was hot. However, I was caught off guard with the additional charges for drinks that I wasn't informed about at check-in.
Facilities
5.0
While the gym looked okay, my treadmill experience was shaky, possibly due to its age. On top of that, there were issues with the layout of the hotel, making it tough to find my way around.

I had a pleasant stay overall at W Toronto, enjoying the modern decor and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean, but I did experience some noise issues. The dining options were limited, yet the food I tried was quite delicious.

Rooms
8.0
My room was lovely with a city view—a comfy bed and spacious layout made it inviting. However, I noticed the walls were a bit thin, and noise from outside and service doors could be an issue.
Service
8.0
The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to help with recommendations and even offering a complimentary bottle of water at check-in. However, there were moments of disorganization at the reception, which was a bit frustrating.
Location
8.0
I loved the hotel’s central location, making it easy to access transportation and trendy shops and restaurants nearby. Yet, I felt that there weren’t many sightseeing options in Toronto itself.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was delicious, featuring lattes and tasty dishes, but the limited choices in the dining options left something to be desired.
Facilities

W Toronto offered a range of facilities, including in-room dining which I found to be quick and tasty. It would have been perfect if there were more dining variety available.

5.2/10

My stay at W Toronto was a mix of highs and lows. The hotel's location at Bloor and Yonge is unbeatable, making it easy to explore trendy Yorkville. While the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, my room wasn't as functional as I'd hoped and had some issues. Overall, I appreciated the boutique vibe but faced some drawbacks.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a standard room that, while comfortable, lacked some practical features like ample towel hooks and a functional desk setup. The room did have a cozy feel with a lovely shower, but it could have been better.
Service
8.0
The staff were genuinely helpful, especially Tevin at the front desk and Takis the bellman. They were very welcoming, accommodating my request for an early check-in and a late check-out. Their attention made my stay much more enjoyable.
Location
9.0
Being right at the Yonge Bloor subway station made it super convenient to get around the city. I loved being close to shopping and dining options, which really added to my experience in Toronto.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was good, with made-to-order meals arriving perfectly on time. I especially appreciated the complimentary liquor, which was a nice touch. though some areas were under renovation during my stay.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with fast elevators and a good fitness center. However, I found the layout confusing, which detracted from the overall experience.
